Suara.com – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency or BMKG warns of the potential for extreme weather in several areas of North Sulawesi in the next few days.
“BMKG issued an early warning of extreme weather until March 15,” said BMKG Coordinator for Observation and Information at the Sam Ratulangi Manado Meteorological Station, Ben Molle in Manado, Sunday (12/3/2023).
Moderate to heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds is likely to occur in most districts and cities.
On March 13, extreme weather is likely to occur in Manado City, Bitung City, Tomohon City, Kotamobagu City, Minahasa Regency, North Minahasa Regency, South Minahasa Regency and Southeast Minahasa Regency.

Similar weather conditions can also occur in Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Sangihe Islands Regency and Sangihe Talaud Islands Regency.
The next day, Manado City, Tomohon City, Minahasa Regency, North Minahasa Regency, South Minahasa Regency, Southeast Minahasa Regency, Kotamobagu City, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency and South Bolaang Mongondow Regency.
On March 15, the potential for extreme weather will be in Manado City, Tomohon City, Minahasa Regency, North Minahasa Regency, South Minahasa Regency, Bolaang Mongondow Regency and North Bolaang Mongondow Regency.
