JAKARTA – There are at least seven beautiful buildings in the world built in the name of love. One of them is in Indonesia.

1. Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is one of the most popular beautiful buildings in the world. Located in India, this building was built by King Shah Jahan as a symbol of his love for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

2. Boldt Castle
Boldt Castle was built by a wealthy businessman named George C Boldt. Quoting Archute’s page, this building was originally created as a symbol of love for his girlfriend around 1900.
However, his girlfriend suddenly died. In the end, he sank into depression and did not continue with the construction of his castle.
Over time, the relevant government bought the castle and rebuilt it. Currently, Boldt Castle is one of the beautiful tourist destinations visited by many people.
3. Kuil Kodai-Ji
Kodai-Ji Temple is in the Higashiyama District of Kyoto, Japan. Founded in 1606, this place was created by Kita no Mandokoro to commemorate his soul mate named Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
In its development, this shrine became one of the historical sites in Japan. Apart from the main building, there are also beautiful gardens and shrines.
4. Kastil Dobroyd
Standing in the highlands of Todmorden, England, this castle began as a promise of love and a honeymoon destination. According to the story, a son of a wealthy businessman named John Fielden fell in love with a weaver girl.
In short, she was willing to marry on condition that Fielden built a castle on the hill. After completing construction, this historic place has 4 small towers, 66 rooms, a central tower, and stables.
5. Prambanan Temple
