No, 50 Cent will not announce GTA VI
After raising the hype among gamers, 50 Cent officially revealed his new project: Vice City, a series that simply shares the name with one of the most beloved Grand Theft Auto games, but has nothing to do with it.
The rapper generated expectations because the first teaser for the project was precisely an image of the Rockstar game logo, which suggested that it was somehow linked to the franchise. Partly because of this, the musician deleted his post shortly after.
The 50 Cent series will be set in 80s Miami and will tell the story of 3 ex-soldiers. So the theme could appeal to fans of Grand Theft Auto; however, it is something totally foreign to the work of Rockstar and GTA VI.
Fans of the franchise have dreamed of a Grand Theft Auto movie or series for years, but it has yet to come true. We know that Rockstar rejected a tape from their franchise that was supposed to star Eminem.
In case you missed it: Rockstar Games never imagined that GTA Online would be so popular and successful.
