JAKARTA – Ukraine indeed it has long raised a warning alarm application air strike . However, the newest feature now is the voice of Star Wars star Mark Hamill who plays Luke Skywalker.
The application serves as a substitute for traditional sirens. So that its users will get a siren sound notification when an air attack is about to occur.

1. Developed Days After First Russian Attack
According to Business Insider, one of the largest technology companies in Ukraine has started creating an app that warns its users about frequent incoming airstrikes. The company is Ajax System.
According to Valentine Hrytsenko, Chief Marketing Officer at Ajax Systems Ukraine, they only developed the app for a few days after the first attack on February 24, 2022.
2. Has a Faster Response than Traditional Sirens
When there is an incoming air attack, an in-app siren will sound to remind the user to be alert. Same function as a traditional warning siren.
Even the application is claimed to be faster and more responsive than traditional sirens. This makes everyone who wants to travel will always be vigilant.
Different from sirens which only provide information when an attack is coming. This application is much more effective because it notifies when the threat has passed.
3. Helping Communities in Rural Areas
Rural areas that are rarely touched by air raid warning sirens are certainly greatly helped by the appearance of this application. This alarm is available and can be used by anyone living in Ukraine.

4. Luke Skywalker Voiced
According to United 24’s website, the aerial alert app has officially partnered with UNITED 24, making the app get an audio version of Luke Skywalker’s voice, played by Mark Hamill.
Luke Skywalker will inform the user about five types of danger namely, missile attacks, shootings, street fighting, radiation, and chemical threats.
Mark Hamill also added some of his iconic and inspirational quotes to the announcement when the danger was over.
5. Provided Donations to Strengthen the Ukrainian Military
UNITED 24 besides being a voice provider also helps by holding fundraisers. All in-app donations will be used to purchase drones for Ukrainian defenders through the UNITED24 platform.
