A collision on the A1 near Wilp this morning during the morning rush hour caused traffic chaos on the highway between Deventer and Apeldoorn. It resulted in a delay of up to 77 minutes. Two of three lanes were closed after the accident, which involved a car and a van. The impact broke a wheel off the car. The blockage of the traffic artery also caused a lot of inconvenience in Deventer, because many drivers chose an alternative route via Twello.
