NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 22 – “Genocide in a nation means that no country can live in peace. When Russia strikes Ukraine, it is an attack on human rights principles. We are not only fighting for our country, but for human rights, for our people and for all of you.” This was stated by the first lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska in a video message at an event organized in Kiev at the UN on the anniversary of the Russian invasion. “We have asked the UN to set up a special tribunal for the crimes of aggression against Russia – she added – it helps everyone so that ‘this never happens again'”.
