Good news for the people of Jalisco who want to stand out as professional singers, since the call to participate in the second edition of the singing contest has been launched. “The Voice of Zapopan”with which people are invited over 18 years to sign up and showcase your artistic skills through performance.
Registration will be available from February 16 to March 16. On this occasion, the registration of around eight thousand participants of any musical genre.
“This second edition will allow us to give continuity to this project, which is very important. Today we are waiting for almost eight thousand people to sign up for this contest, to send their clues and to be able to participate in the selection”, said the Municipal President john jose frangie.
He also reiterated that one of the main axes of his government is culture, so work has been done on the rehabilitation of cultural centers and incentives have been granted to artistic creatorsamong other cultural promotion actions that contribute to the reconstruction of the social fabric.
Victor Chidan Hadadgeneral producer of “La Voz Zapopan” stressed that the support and dissemination of this event is important “so that we have today, as we did last year, one of the largest and most important events in the city of Guadalajara, Zapopan and Jaliscoto know that we do not need to import ideas or foreign productions to be able to make a very regional concept, very Guadalajara, very Zapopano.

Edgar Espinosa, who is the winner of the first edition of “La Voz de Zapopan”, said he was grateful for the opportunity to make his voice reach everyone through this contest and motivated people to participate in the competition and make their dreams come true.
“It is a great opportunity for these artists, both experienced and those who are not. It is a super important platform to grow and live the experience that we all need and that will help us with our lives and our careers. I will always be grateful for the support of the Zapopan government.”
Registration and dates
The call will be open from February 16 to March 16. Those interested in participating may register at https://bit.ly/LaVozZapopan2023. The recordings of the semifinals will take place on the days May 11, 12 and 13, at the Constitution Cultural Center. The transmissions will be the days June 3, 10 and 17 by Megacable. The final will take place on the day June 25th in the Plácido Domingo hall of the Santander Ensemble of Performing Arts. “La Voz de Zapopan” will have nationwide coverage in nine million homes in Mexico and the United States.
Requirements
Men and women of legal age residing in the State of Jalisco can participate. Soloists, duets or vocal groups of any musical genre can participate.
Prizes
First place. Recording of five musical themes, singing classes for a year, a photo session, recognition and a trophy. Second place. Recording of three musical themes, singing classes for six months, photo session, recognition and trophy. Third place. Recording of a musical theme, singing classes for three months, photo session, recognition and trophy.
