Suara.com – A middle-aged man with the initials U (52) died while cycling on Car Free Day (CFD), Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Senayan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Sunday (19/2/2023).
The incident went viral after being uploaded on social media. One of the accounts that uploaded it was Instagram @recordjakarta.
“U suddenly fell and fainted while cycling,” wrote the account, quoted on Sunday.
U was able to get help from residents and doctors from the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) who happened to be exercising.

Then, the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) officers who were on guard in the CFD area called an Emergency Ambulance (AGD) so that the victim could receive treatment and be rushed to the hospital.
“Upon arrival of the AGD, the officers immediately received Cardiac and Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) but the victim’s life was not saved,” he wrote.
The victim who had died was then evacuated by ambulance to the funeral home. Then, the bicycle that U used was also delivered to the funeral home using the Satpol PP operational car.
