Despite the violent impact, the driver was not seriously injured, according to an official statement from the Bathurst 12 Hour: “After his accident in free practice 4 of the Bathurst 12 Hour driver Keith Kassulke was taken to the circuit medical center for checks Keith was conscious throughout, communicated with recovery teams and had no serious injuries.”
