I think Johnny is a great friend and an amazing artist and again, you go through things in life that you wish you hadn’t, but he’s still a talented artist.”

It is not the first time that Jerry Bruckheimer has expressed interest in working with Johnny Depp again for Pirates of the Caribbean 6. This time, Bruckheimer redoubles his affection for the actor, subtly defending the actor from his bizarre image before public opinion. Both Depp’s drama with his ex-partner Amber Heard and his already-announced departure as Jack Sparrow make his return to the saga seem unlikely, despite Bruckheimer’s support for the Hollywood star.
