According to Grubb, The Coalition was busy as a support studio for Halo Infinite and also worked with Epic Games on The Matrix Awakens, a tech demo that demonstrated the potential of Unreal Engine 5.
At the same time, he had 2 projects in development that were never revealed. The journalist affirms that both were canceled and that now the study will put all its attention on Gears 6. So the new installment of the saga will be its next great game.
