RIYADH – Presence of drones and missiles Iran began to worry the United States (US) and its Gulf allies.
According to information from the Pentagon, Tehran’s weapons are one of the most prominent air defense threats facing Washington and its allies.
Those concerns arose after a meeting between the US delegation and members of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh, where it was determined that the two sides share fundamental security concerns.
US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Middle East Dana Stroul said one of the biggest dangers of Iranian drones is their deployment to various non-state actors across the Middle East.

It had been the focus of many Pentagon reports before explaining how the Islamic Republic of Iran supplied weapons to its proxies, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and various pro-Iranian militias in Iraq.
According to Stroul, Iran’s distribution of drones to the entity is a danger to Gulf civilians and to US forces in Iraq and Syria fighting ISIS.
There is also a danger that Iran could respond militarily following drones against ammunition facilities in Isfahan in late January, which are reportedly Israeli operations.
According to a report in Russian news outlet Interfax, the drone strike will trigger an Iranian response that will inflame tensions in the Middle East.
