Will Boba Fett return in season 3 of The Mandalorian? a new poster seems to confirm it
The second season of The Mandalorian brought back a host of Star Wars characters, but the most legendary of all was the return of bounty hunter Boba Fett who hadn’t been seen as an adult since his apparent death in the jaws of the Sarlacc. in Return of the Jedi.
This came with the revelation that Fett survived his supposed death and returned to help Din Djarin in his adventures with Grogu in season 2. But all of this would serve as the setting for him to star in his own series, Boba Fett’s bookwhich saw the bounty hunter take over Jabba Hutt’s former criminal empire on Tatooine.
Lucasfilm has yet to confirm if Boba Fett will return in the next season after he teamed up on Tatooine with Din Djarin in the last few episodes of their series. Although March’s upcoming season trailer could have teased a return for her, as it revealed a return to Tatooine, where Fett now leads his criminal empire.
EMPIRE has shared a special poster exclusively for subscribers to the magazine for its upcoming issue dedicated to the third season of The Mandalorian as well as a second version of its upcoming cover featuring Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin without his helmet.
The poster design features 11 different Mandalorian helmets, including one that appears to be Boba Fett’s, which has yet to be confirmed for a Season 3 return.
If we compare the helmet with that of the bounty hunter, we can find similar details, a reticle on the side and its characteristic dent.
