In October of last year, two ratings were conducted: one from the Taiwan Rating Board and one from the ESRB on a definitive edition of the FPS RPG, The Outer Worlds. Going by the name of The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division have finally announced the release for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Along with the base game and the Murder on Eridanos and Peril on Gorgon DLCs, it features improved visuals and performance, higher-resolution environments, and much more.
The Outer Worlds is a first-person shooter/RPG where players navigate the Halcyon system and other neighboring planets after awakening from cryogenic sleep. By making different decisions, we must recruit companions, change the direction of the narrative, and gain support from different factions. Spacer’s Choice Edition even has a higher level cap, providing more ways to customize your character.
If you own The Outer Worlds and its DLC on any platform, you can upgrade to Spacer’s Choice Edition for the latest console in the same family or on the same PC store at a reduced price. It will be out on March 7th, stay tuned for more details and gameplay. You can read our review of the original game HERE, as well as check out the reveal trailer below.
