Marvel Studios has presented a new spot for Ant-Man 3 in which the catchphrase used in the sequel to Doctor Strange is used again
Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania titled “Before”, which recycles a promotional slogan from a commercial Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness titled “Ready”.
Both trailers feature the catchphrase “Nothing can prepare you,” a phrase Ghost uttered at the beginning of the 2018 Ant-Man and the Wasp “Get Ready” spot.
This may be causing Ant-Man 3 to have a similar impact on the MCU to Doctor Strange 2 in that it will largely set up what’s to come in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
The threequel is expected to tie in closely with the fifth installment of The Avengers through the debut of Kang the Conquered.r. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness It was already an integral part of the setup for the next Avengers movie due to the introduction of multiversal raids.
Alternatively when Doctor Strange 2 was promoted this way, many believed that Marvel Studios was teasing the exciting Illuminati cameos. Perhaps the use of the same tagline could imply that Ant-Man 3 will include a similar level of cameos. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence, with so many MCU movies and series that have been released, and so many, spots it may just have been a fluke, but knowing Marvel Studios, they never give a stitch without a thread. What do you think?
