Although the new HBO Max series, The Last of Us, has already attracted powerful attention, an announcement was recently made that made everyone’s hair stand on end.
The fifth episode of the HBO original series ‘THE LAST OF US’ will premiere early on HBO Max starting on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET. It will happen before its premiere on linear channel HBO on Sunday, February 12 at 9:00 pm ET. HBO subscribers can also get early access to Episode 5 through their HBO Max account, which is included at no additional cost when you purchase your subscription through a television provider. New episodes of the series will continue to air Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO Max and HBO, through the season finale on March 12. The preview of the fragment took everyone by surprise.

The Serie
The HBO original series takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie out. This is a 14-year-old girl from an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts out as a small job soon turns into a brutal and harrowing journey. In this one, both must cross the United States and depend on each other to survive.
The cast includes Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess. There’s also Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen. Storm Reid joins as Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene (Dandridge voiced the character Marlene in the video games “The Last of Us” and “The Last of Us Part II”). Also, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry (Pierce voiced the character Tommy in the video games “The Last of Us” and “The Last of Us Part II”), Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon and Elaine Miles like Florence.
