MILAN, 15 FEB – The judges of the seventh penal case of Milan have retired to the council chamber to issue the sentence in the Milanese trial on the Ruby ter case against Silvio Berlusconi and 28 other defendants. In two hours, explained the president of the panel Marco Tremolada, the judges will give indications to the parties on the timing of the verdict, which will still arrive during the day. At the moment there are only two defendants present: the former showgirl Marysthell Polanco and Simonetta Losi, the wife of the pianist from Arcore Danilo Mariani. “My life in these years has been hell. I hope it will be fine. The judges are smart and I feel it will be fine. If it goes wrong, I will speak – said Marysthell Polanco while awaiting the sentence. “I am always positive, if it goes wrong it will go well and if it goes well it will go well”. And again: “After so many years, the time has finally come. They cannot convict a person who has done nothing. As my lawyer said, there is no evidence – he concluded – just all talk and badges” (ANSA).
