Sumatran voice – The Police helicopter that was boarded by the Jambi Regional Police Chief Inspector General of Police Rusdi Hartono and his entourage fell on Bukit Tamia Jambi, Muara Emat, Jambi, Sunday (19/2/2023).

The National Police Headquarters said that the Jambi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono and his staff were in safe condition, but suffered injuries.

“Condition safe, but suffered injuries,” said Head of Public Relations Division of the Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to Antara confirmed in Jakarta, Sunday (19/2/2023).
Dedi said that the National Police Headquarters had received information regarding the incident from the pilot and the Jambi Regional Police.
Currently the focus of the police is to quickly evacuate the helicopter from the emergency landing.
“Currently the Brimob troops, the Kerinci Police and the regional SAR team are heading to the location to evacuate the victims,” said Dedi.
The Police helicopter carried eight people, namely the Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Rusdi Hartono accompanied by Dirreskrimum Polda Jambi Kombes Pol. Andri Ananta Yudistira, Jambi Police Dipolairud Kombes Michael Mumbunan, Coordinator of Kompol Ayani and ADC Kapolda, as well as three helicopter crews AKP Ali, AKP Amos F, Aipda Susilo.

For your information, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono has served as the Jambi Regional Police Chief since October 2022, previously served as Head of the Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, then was promoted as Main Widyaiswara Sespim of the National Police Education and Training Center.
