STOCKHOLM – Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian Embassy) Stockholm participating again in Balttour 2023, the largest tourism exhibition in the Baltic region (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). In this event, the Indonesian Embassy promoted Indonesian tourism, coffee and culture to the European community.
After taking a break for the 2021-2022 period due to the pandemic, Balttour 2023 will be held again on 3-5 February 2023 at the International Exhibition Center, Kipsala, Riga, Latvia.
The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Economy of Latvia Ilze Indriksone.
“Tourism brings cross-sectoral cooperation and also encourages exports. I’m glad to see the tourism sector is also bringing creativity and investing in new products in these difficult times. This event will open a new step for other exhibitions throughout the year,” he said.
Balttour 2023 presented 253 Travel Agents/Travel Operators from 32 countries as participants and was attended by approximately 8,000 visitors during the three days of the exhibition.

The Indonesian Embassy in Stockholm is working with travel operator Asien Paradisresort to provide information and tour packages, as well as information on the latest regulations for entering Indonesia, both related to visas and Covid-19.
The Indonesian booth was packed with enthusiastic visitors who planned to visit Bali this fall or winter.
“I have never been to Indonesia or to Bali. But from what I heard, Bali is very attractive and the nature is very beautiful. Therefore, this year I plan to visit Bali, at least once in a lifetime,” said Anton, one of the visitors at the Indonesia booth.
Several other visitors had visited Indonesia, and expressed their interest in visiting again. “I have traveled to Nusa Penida, Lombok and Labuan Bajo. I am interested in visiting other areas in Indonesia again,” said Mikail.
