Since coming to YouTube Red in 2018, Cobra Kai has changed radically while staying true to its origins. The arrival of the serie to Netflix was a tremendous boost to his popularity.
But everything that starts has to end at some point, and the Karate Kid sequel series is no exception.
Netflix renewed Cobra Kai months ago for a sixth season, which will also be the last of the series that brought back to Daniel LaRusso y Johnny Lawrence.
Rivalries are part of the formula that has led Cobra Kai to success, evoking the enmity between Daniel and Johnny whenever possible. His disciples have not been less, be they Miguel y Robby o Sam y Tory.
Peyton List anticipates a change in dynamic between Tory and Sam
With Cobra Kai season 6 already confirmed, Peyton List is ready to resume her role as Tory Nicholswho was one of the Cobra Kai champions in the All Valley Championship.
Tory has had a nemesis since her arrival in season 2 of the sequel series to The Karate Kid: Samantha LaRusso. But season 5 forged an unlikely alliance between the two to put an end to the machinations of Terry Silver.
While chatting with PureWow, List explained that while she has yet to read the scripts for the final season of the Netflix series, we can expect a change in dynamic between Tory and Sam.
“I have no idea where the next season is headed, but it’s definitely going to be different. Sam and Tory haven’t been in a room without fighting in a long time, let alone fighting together, so I’m really curious.”
Cobra Kai season 6 will mark the end of the series and should completely shut down the main plots now that there is supposedly no big bad villain running the dojo. Although we will have to see what has happened with the sensei Kim Da-Eun and what the recently escaped is up to John Kreese.
