After two cancellations and legal issues, we can finally see some gameplay of the “second most anticipated game on Steam”, The Day Before. This since the developers have released a 10-minute gameplay trailer, which comes amid many doubts about first, if the game is real and also, if the expectation they created from the beginning was worth it.
And apparently, this would only be hype since what was shown in the first preview is too generic and with an aspect that has not convinced anyone. This can be seen in the reactions that fans have published on social networks, as well as in the comments on the video on YouTube.
You can read: The creators of The Day Before say they were going to delay the game long before they knew that someone had already registered the name
With just one scroll on these, we can see that no one was satisfied with what is seen in the trailer, where users indicate things like “the entire budget of the game went to the ass, great”, or “If this game really comes out , it will be nothing less than a miracle”, pointing also to the quality of the game, wondering “how would the game work if there were more than 4 or 5 zombies on the screen or even loaded in the area…”.
In addition, and it is something that jumps out at first glance, some fans have indicated that it is too similar to other games such as The Last of Us. Something that a Naughty Dog title content creator mentions, who indicates on Twitter that The Day Before “smelled of “TLOU attempt” on all four sides, but there is even the “Mandatory evacuation” panel and the posters of the QZ are VERY SIMILAR. For less I have seen lawsuits for plagiarism ”.
We leave you the preview below, so you can get your own idea of what is shown by The Day Before.
