The Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) was chosen to lead the Board of Associations of the Business Alliance for the Climate of Jaliscowith this he becomes the main link between the board that he now represents and the Executive Committee of the Alliance.
The Business Alliance for Climate has the objective that companies in Jalisco together with the state government make commitments to move towards a more competitive and low carbon economy.
Through this is that those who integrate it obtain relevant information on challenges, needs and advances in environmental matters.
It was last January that the Tequila Regulatory Council, concerned and busy with issues of sustainability and in favor of the environment, requested its adhesion to the Business Alliance for Climate, currently made up of the Secretary of Economic Development (SEDECO), the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Development (SOMETHING), 64 companies, 28 Associations and Chambers of the state of Jalisco.
With his new appointment, the CRT assumed the responsibility of representing the priorities and vision of all chambers and associations at Executive Council meetings, as well as that of participate in the discussion and decision-making on policies and relevant issues to communicate and promote the decisions adopted to all associations and chambers.
Also, he will be in charge of creating and facilitating participatory spaces in collaboration with the members and the secretariats to encourage the participation of all the parties involved and will establish a joint work agenda.
He will periodically meet with the Alliance Task Force to follow up on all the initiatives that are established by common agreement.
The Business Alliance for the Climate in Jalisco was created in 2021, with this it also seeks to increase the competitiveness of Jalisco companies in the face of a national and international market that increasingly demands greater traceability of its actions from the business sector and Value chains.
