The week starts with a very different weather than we have had during the weekend. The spring temperatures that have occurred in Spain are accompanied by rain and snowfall. Since Sunday night, a certain mass of cold air began to be sensed and by Tuesday it will settle in a good part of the Peninsula.
Today’s day appears cloudy with rain that will be more important in the central hours of the day. These snowfalls will begin to appear at levels that are around 1,000 meters inland from Valencia, Castellón, Teruel, Cuenca and in the last few hours some showers are expected that we cannot rule out on the coast of Almería and Málaga. Today there will also be some showers that will affect the Canary Islands.
In daytime values we will have a much softer environment. We start the day with frost and throughout the day the temperatures will tend to drop, reminding us now that we are still in the month of February. The temperatures will drop again in the coming days and we will also see snow at levels that will remain at about 800 meters in the center, south and east of the peninsula.
