The stabbing was on January 11 last year in a flat on the Sluitersveldssingel in Almelo. Jarell Reinders was stabbed ten times and did not survive. His girlfriend was stabbed six times, but survived the attack. Jarell was stabbed in the chest, abdomen and back. A total of ten times. His girlfriend was also stabbed six times; she was hit in her hip, buttock and thigh. A bloody knife was found in the suspect’s home.
