False (casting hasn’t started).
While castings for the film have yet to take place, we know for a fact that Henry Cavill won’t be returning as the superhero despite her appearance in the post credits scene of Black Adam. This choice was made by Gunn and Safran, who want to create a new cinematic universe that breaks away (in part) from what has been seen in the last ten years.
Currently what we know for sure is that Superman Legacy, barring postponements, will hit theaters onJuly 11, 2025.
