Suberbike, Ducati closes the tests in front of everyone
The Suberbike winter tests on the Portimao track ended with Ducati domination. In fact, after the best time recorded by Rinaldi on the first day, on the second it was his teammate Alvaro Bautista who set the best time ahead of Jonathan Rea, Northern Irish of Kawasaki, by just nine thousandths.
The fastest lap of the reigning world champion Iberian driver was 1’39”035: he was very close to the track record set by Pecco Bagnaia (1’38”725).
The strength of the Panigale V4R is also underlined by the third place obtained by teammate Michael Ruben Rinaldi with a gap of one tenth of a second from the leader.
