Last year, Studio Ghibli’s theme park opened its doors in the city of Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, to provide anime fans with an idyllic spot to enjoy the studio’s excellent filmography.
The setting of the park will transport us to dream locations taken from films such as Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle or My Neighbor Totoro. The movie of Hayao Miyazaki (Miyazaki Hayao) from 1988 is precisely the protagonist of our story today.

As reported by Comicbook, those responsible for the Studio Ghibli theme park have announced that they are going to use low-speed electric vehicles to adapt them and that they take the form of the legendary Gatobus from the Miyazaki film.
When Satsuki y Mei they needed a fast and safe means of transport, Totoro He summoned the Gatobus to help the two sisters. Since then, this fast cat has become one of the distinctive elements of the movie by Studio Ghibli.
Although it has attractions, Studio Ghibli’s theme park is not your typical theme park: the anime studio’s goal was to build a nature-friendly environment where fans could immerse themselves in the fantastical worlds of films like Howl’s Moving Castle o Spirited Awaynot just decorate a roller coaster.
The Studio Ghibli park will open the remaining areas that are still under construction this year and, presumably, will also be when the Gatobuses come into service.
