Ranah.co.id – The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Sri Mulyani Indrawati asked that the Motor Gede (Moge) club established by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) named Belasting Rijder DGT be dissolved.
It is suspected that Sri Mulyani is still annoyed with the rampant cases of lavish lifestyles of tax officials in Indonesia.
Sri Mulyani submitted the request to disband the DGT moge club via a post on her official Instagram account, Sunday (26/2/2023).
Sri admitted that in recent days photos and news have circulated in various print and online media the Director General of Taxes, Suryo Utomo driving a moge.

Sri said Suryo was driving a motorbike with a tax official who likes big motorbikes.
“Responding to the news, I convey instructions to the Director General of Taxes, as follows,” said Sri in the post by writing two points.
The first point Sri conveyed was asking the Director General of Taxes to publish the source of his assets.
“Explain and convey to the public/public the total assets of the Director General of Taxes and where they come from as reported on the LHKPN,” wrote Sri.
Then, the second point, Sri asked that the DGT’s big-bike club be disbanded. “Requested that the DJP’s BlastingRijder club be disbanded. The hobby and lifestyle of riding a motorbike has created negative public perceptions and raised suspicions about the source of wealth for DGT employees,” he said.
