Apparently Sony mistakenly revealed the existence of many unannounced titles for the Playstation VR2, such as Solaris Offworld Combat II, Wanderer, Gorn and Project Wingman. The whole thing was discovered by UploadVR via a listing on the German Playstation Blog.
The post about Playstation Blog Tedesco was deleted but was promptly saved and can be seen thanks to the Internet Archive, the sequel to Solaris Offworld Combat has therefore been announced as a surprise but no trailer or information has been released yet. We only know that the study First Contact declined the request for UploadVR to comment on the leak but, surprisingly, confirmed the sequel with a post on Twitterwhich you can see below, along with an invite link to their Discord channel and an image showing the logo of Solaris Offworld Combat II. We also know it is Wanderer That Horn I am already available on the PSVR and therefore it makes sense that Sony is looking to bring both titles to its own new PSVR2 headset. Project Wingman it was previously a PC exclusive and then also released on Xbox and now, apparently, also on the new headset and PS5.
Solaris Offworld Combat II is today’s surprise, with an announcement from the developers on Twitter. We will probably expect new information and announcements on new titles for Playstation VR2, which we remind you will be available from February 22nd. If you haven’t done it yet, go and see the teardown videos of the headset and controller and also the new gameplay trailer of the VR version of Resident Evil Village!
