ANKARA – A number satellite photo shows the condition of cities in Turkey before and after earthquake that hit Turki last Monday. As a result, the latest satellite photographs show the devastation that has occurred in Turkish cities as a result of the two devastating earthquakes that hit the country.
Collapsed buildings, emergencies and tent shelters can be seen in the latest satellite images of Turkey’s quake-hit cities, revealing damage from the devastating quake.
Quoted from CNN, Wednesday (8/2/2023), the image taken by Maxar Technologies shows the towns of Islahiye and Nurdagi.
In Islahiye, dozens of buildings across the city have collapsed. In the city center, a cluster of residential buildings to the west of the Haci Ali Ozturk mosque is level with the ground.
At least thirteen buildings around two city blocks – all between three and five stories high – were destroyed.
Just east of the mosque complex, two large buildings were seen destroyed.

The ruins of the two buildings, four and six stories high, lay scattered in the streets. One of the roofs appears to be intact, although the building underneath has collapsed.
Further down the road, a bulldozer appears to be clearing another collapsed building.
Just north of Islahiye, this image of the town of Nurdagi shows dozens of tractor trailers on a highway.
