SANREMO, 01 FEB – “Talking about records, about ten days before the end of the Festival, seems a bit premature to me. We are absolutely satisfied, because the credibility of Amadeus is total and the market is following us very well”. This was stated by the managing director of Rai Pubblicità, Gian Paolo Tagliavia, on the sidelines of the press conference “Between the stage and the city, local initiatives of the 73rd Italian Song Festival”. Thus Tagliavia replied to the question of whether the forecasts on the possibility of a record year for Rai’s advertising revenue linked to the Festival are reliable, we are talking – according to estimates by the Sole 24 Ore – of around fifty million. “Sunday morning, after the final, we could give definitive figures,” he added. Is the figure reliable? “Reliable – he said – is an adverb that has various nuances, but let’s say that we are on the right track”. (HANDLE).
