Russian missile strikes hit an apartment in Donetsk, killing 3 people. PHOTOS/Anadolu Agency
KIEV – At least three people were killed and 18 others injured in the attack missile Russia in an apartment complex in the eastern Donetsk region Ukraine . This is the latest damage reported as a result of an attack by Moscow troops.
“A Russian Iskander-K tactical missile hit an apartment complex in Kramatorsk at around 9.45am, Wednesday (1/2/2023) evening. The attack damaged at least eight buildings and destroyed one,” Donetsk police said in a Facebook post.

“By 7am, Thursday (2/2/2023), three bodies had been pulled out of the rubble. While two people were rescued alive,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) said in a separate statement on Telegram, as quoted by Anadolu Agency.
It was reported that 18 people were injured in the attack, with eight of them being treated in hospital. “The four-storey apartment building collapsed due to the attack and several cars parked nearby were also destroyed,” the DSNS statement continued.
It was also explained that more than 180 personnel remained involved in search and rescue operations. “This is not a repeat of history. This is a daily reality in our country,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
“A country bordering on absolute crime, and a country that must address it to prevent more such tragedies from happening again,” he added.

It is also reported that Russian troops attacked more than 70 Ukrainian artillery units at firing positions in the last day during a special military operation in Ukraine. This was disclosed by the spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
“Russian operational-tactical aircraft, missile forces and artillery troop groups attacked 78 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 105 areas,” the spokesman said.
“Russian warplanes and artillery carried out strikes on units of the Ukrainian army in the Kupyansk area, destroying more than 25 enemy soldiers in the past day,” Konashenkov continued.
