In a press conference, through the department of culture of the municipality, headed by the mayor Alejandro Barragan Sanchezthe program was introduced.
Festival activities include film cycles, talks, conferences, pictorial exhibitions, master classes and concerts. The inauguration will be in the bust of Rubén Fuentes located in the Principal garden from the city at 10:00 in the morning accompanied by the Children’s Mariachi “Los Ameyalis” and the closing will be in charge of the Mariachi Alegría del Rincón Jalisco and Mariachi Los Galleros by Danny Rey at 7:00 pm in Rubén Fuentes square in the Historic Center.
Barragan Sanchez He stressed that the purpose of this festival is to transcend the borders of Zapotlán and whoever visits the city knows the work of the illustrious son Rubén Fuentes, as well as the cultural and artistic wealth that has emerged from this land.
For his part, Jose Zunopresident of Telesur specified that the festival will be promoted from different platforms to achieve a greater projection with national and international television stations, such as: CaliTV from Colombia, Tele from Houston, Tele Uno from Costa Rica and Televisión Alteña in the Altos de Jalisco.
