Among all the comedy series that has been on television, without a doubt one of the most praised has been Frasierthe spin-off series of Cheers starring Kelsey Grammer, which was hugely successful all over the world and which, for many, far exceeds the mother series.
Released in 1993, the Cheers spin-off started with the psychiatrist Frasier Crane leaving Boston and starting a new life in Seattle, his hometown, to start working as a presenter in a radio program-office.
But as soon as he begins his new life, all of Frasier’s plans are cut short when his father Martin Cranea grumpy retired cop who was shot badly in the hip, has a mishap at home and can’t live alone, so he has to settle in with his son.
Thus, as the seriethe relationship between father and son is improving, as with his little brother, who is also a psychiatrist Niles Crane.
Frasier immediately achieved resounding success around the world throughout its 11 seasons on the air, where it managed to reap a total of 37 Emmy Awards and today it is considered one of the best sitcoms and comedy series of all time.

Filming begins for Frasier sequel with Kelsey Grammer
Almost twenty years after its end, Frasier will be back with a new series for the streaming platform Paramount+, where Kelsey Grammer will reprise the role she played for twenty years, although David Hyde Pierce as Niles will not return.
The project becomes more official now that casting director Jeff Greenberg has shared the script for the pilot episode of the new series, confirming the start of its filming. You can take a look below.
As you can see, no change has been made to the title of the series, which will continue to be plain Frasier. However, it will not be a season 12, but will start again from scratch with a first season, whose title of its pilot episode is The Good Father and will be directed by James Burrows, one of the creators of Cheers.
The little that is known about his plot is that “Frasier is going to change cities again. He thinks he is going to go out and do one thing, and indeed, his life takes him in another direction,” according to Grammer himself.
The Frasier sequel series will premiere soon in the Paramount + catalog. In the meantime, here are some crazy trivia about Friends, Frasier, and some of the best ’90s sitcoms.
