Denpasar Sound – Operator BRI Liga 1, the new Indonesian League or LIB officially announced that two matches in week 23 were officially postponed.
The matches are Persita Tangerang against Persija Jakarta, scheduled for Tuesday (7/2/2023) and PSIS Semarang against Persebaya Surabaya, scheduled for Wednesday (8/2/2023).
According to the Main Director of PT LIB, Ferry Paulus was postponed solely for reasons of security for the match by the police.
“So LIB announced that the match was postponed and will be announced for the next schedule,” said Ferry Paulus, Monday night (6/2/2023).

Ferry Paulus further informed that (4/2/2023) Persita had sent a letter of notification regarding the progress of the Persija contract implementation plan.
In the letter numbered 024/SEKR/PTR/II/2023 it was explained that Persita’s management was facing problems regarding the difficulty of obtaining recommendations regarding crowd permits.
Last week, they did not get a crowd permit to compete at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang.
LIB, he said, had also helped communicate to find alternative stadiums. Including the PTIK Stadium. But again failed.
“Then efforts were made at the Pakansari Stadium which actually had a green light on D-1 until finally there were plans for OT and MCM. However, the permit has not yet been obtained,” said Ferry Paulus.

Furthermore, regarding the obstacles faced by Persita management, they have been trying since long ago and LIB has helped as much as possible,
“Then Persita’s status is not WO or is not deemed to have failed to organize the match,” he added.
Meanwhile, through a letter numbered 24/PSIS-MJS/II/2023, PSIS Semarang management also informed that the Semarang Polrestabes had not been able to provide recommendations for the match between PSIS Semarang vs Persebaya Surabaya.
“Because there is no such recommendation, we also declare the match against Persebaya to be postponed,” concluded Ferry. *
