MOSCOW – Chairman of Wagner Group Yevgeny Prigozhin claims to destroy Leopard tanks belonging to a number of NATO countries in Ukraine.
Prigozhin said Moscow could actually seize Bakhmut in March or April.
Prigozhin also said the intensity of artillery fire was 2-3 times higher at Bakhmut. Wagner Group is at the forefront of Russia to capture Bakmut, the main junction city of Donbass which has experienced fierce fighting.
Then who is Yevgeny Prigozhin? Prigozhin is the Chairman of the Russian Military Company, Wagner Group.
He has been one of the important figures in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Prigozhin was born in Leningrad in 1961.

In 1981, the Leningrad Criminal Court sentenced him to prison for robbery and fraud.
It is known, he was sentenced to 13 years, but he was released when his prison term was only nine years, when the collapse of the Soviet Union.
After being released from prison, Prigozhin started a food business by opening a hot dog stand. He then opened a convenience store, before starting a luxury restaurant chain with several partners in St Petersburg.
Prigozhin founded one of his major companies, Concord Catering, in 1996. His Concord catering company also got an exclusive contract with the Russian government.
