“An alternative road for motorists from the west at the T-junction of Jalan Cemengkalan, all private vehicles go straight through Jalan Sarirogo through Jalan Kesatrian,” said Kompol Yanto Mulyanto, Head of Traffic Unit of the Sidoarjo Police, quoted by Antara, Monday (06/02/2023).
He explained that the police would provide traffic engineering as an alternative road access to road users, especially Sidoarjo residents on Tuesday (07/02/2023) tomorrow.
Meanwhile, from Surabaya, all large vehicles from the Buduran traffic light were immediately diverted towards the East Ring Line. Meanwhile, private vehicles can pass under the Buduran flyover and turn back to Jalan Kesatrian.
“But for private vehicles that have already entered the city. If the road conditions are congested, when you arrive at the Yos Sudarso T-junction, turn left onto Jalan Monginsidi,” explained Yanto.
Yanto added, road closures were carried out on Jalan Ponti in front of GOR Delta Sidoarjo and Jalan Pahlawan on the north side. However, it is possible that Jalan Pahlawan on the south side will also be closed, depending on the density situation on the ground.

“We have been working with the RT administrators in the nearest housing area around GOR Delta. The residential roads which have been closed with portals, will be opened during the holding of the one century Harlah NU reception in Sidoarjo,” explained Yanto.
“Motorists other than the congregation who have already passed the Sidoarjo Toll Exit are directed to turn right past Jalan Raya Cemengkalan (then) towards Suko,” said Yanto. ***
