Team Championship is the new Pokémon event that offers the player three months of adrenaline-pumping challenges in which 10 teams will compete for the coveted title competing with Scarlet and Violet on the Nintendo handheld.
The competition is structured much like the NBA in which the ten teams are created through a component selection system conducted by each team’s captains. All squads are inspired by one region: from Kanto, to Paldea, passing through Hisui.
The event represents an opportunity to test Teracrystallization, a new mechanic introduced with Scarlet and Violet that allows transformation during battle. To enrich the competition there will also be a real steam e-sport told by Francesco Pardini, Pietro Xella, Nicholas Ramacciotti and Andrea Di Tivoliwith insights, rankings, curiosities and much
more, live worldwide every Wednesday from8 February to 26 April at 18:00for three months, on Francesco Pardini’s Twitch channel.
After a first preliminary phase, the first 4 teams will then move on to a more acute phase with direct elimination which will decide the finalists and finally the winner.
