New news inside Pokémon GO trainers. Kecleon made its debut this 2023 and players really liked how Niantic did this: you had to walk up to PokeStops and tap them to see if this Pokemon would spawn.
While it is true that this event was not without its errors, it seems that Niantic has made this an official function of the game.. A player has noticed this and posted it on Reddit:
Bug causing Kecleon being visible on Pokéstops outside Trainer’s radius has been added as feature.

Basically the bug was that Kecleon would be visible at PokeStops outside of PokeStops if the player touched the PokeStop. Instead of removing the bug Niantic implemented this as an in-game feature. This makes it easier to find Kecleon.
But for most this went unnoticed, it is as a result of this post on Reddit that players have been aware of this. and most have really liked that Niantic has implemented this. They ensure that it is a positive way to deal with certain errors that may arise within the game.
