‘Ignored. Fought back.’ That is the title of both a book and an exhibition in which the victims of the benefits affair are given a face. Yesterday afternoon, the traveling exhibition with photos by Bert Teunissen landed on the square in front of the town hall in Hengelo. Independent Member of Parliament Pieter Omtzigt from Enschede and Hengelo’s former alderman Mariska ten Heuw (SP) performed the opening.
