The latest version of the SDK includes numerous feature updates that meet the OpenXR standard and are compatible with all headsets including Neo 3 Pro/Pro Eye, Neo3 link, PICO 4 and 4 Enterprise.
Sviluppato da Khronos Group, OpenXR is an open, royalty-free standard designed to simplify software development VR, allowing developers to access multiple platforms by reusing the same code. This means they can benefit from the OpenXR standard to get the best portability on PICO headsets. Henry Zhou, President of the company, said:

In September last year the company presented PICO 4, the next generation lightweight all-in-one VR headset that aims to make VR accessible to everyone, combining comfort and performance. 4 integrates Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset, Pancake optics, 4K+ resolution display and an intuitive user experience. Pioneering the next generation of VR hardware designs, PICO 4 makes the unreal real, resulting in a more vivid and immersive VR experience. The introduction of PICO 4 follows the launch of the first consumer headset, Neo 3 Linkwhich took place in May of last year.
In October, the company launched PICO 4 Enterprise, a headset VR all-in-one professional with high-resolution thin pancake lenses and lightweight, ergonomic design. Designed for business applications, 4 Enterprise includes the new Snapdragon XR2 processor, access to PICO’s Business Suite with SDK, face, hand and eye tracking, and a camera pass-through. PICO 4 Enterprise joins the existing models: Neo3 Pro and Neo3 Pro Eye, next generation 6DoF all-in-one headset for companies. Neo3 Pro Eye features eye-tracking technology that delivers user insights, better training, increased business productivity, and accelerates innovation in healthcare.
