ROME, 14 FEB – “I categorically reject the distinction on smart working which would be good for other organizations and not for the public administration. I don’t see why a tool that works in other organizations shouldn’t work in the PA”. This was stated by the Minister for Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo during the conference “Dialogues on digital”, underlining that this year there were 560,000 smart administration workers and that the forecast for 2023 is that they will be almost 700,000. “It’s a commitment – he said – that we have made. The PA is no different from other organizations. We must use the tools correctly. In normal working mode there is a strong connotation of control. In smart working there is a relationship of trust that consolidates and the need to set up the work activity by objectives”. (HANDLE).
