Here we are at absolute levels, both in a metaphorical and real sense above Maikel Melero there is the sky. The 35-year-old Spanish rider is a true artist in the freestyle category.
He has been world champion five times, in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He now races with KTM after a past with Yamaha.
In the stunt you see in this video he is still on a Yamaha.
As for perfection, even the stunt below is no joke. Melero, after taking the leap, performs a 360 on himself and regains control of the bike, in front of an audience in complete admiration (and for some devotion).
They are works of art, however ephemeral, made eternal by the films.
This video shows a dangerous situation for the motorcyclist, who however is an established professional and is putting on a show in a safe place for the public: don’t imitate him!
