NAPLES, 14 FEB – After injuring his mother at home, he reaches the woman’s companion who had gone to the police station to report the incident and tries to stab him in the throat: an officer tries to disarm him but is wounded by a blow to the leg and as the attacker is about to stab him again, this time in the throat, another policeman shoots and seriously wounds him in the legs. The attacker is taken to the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital but he dies there. In the same hospital, the stepfather of the victim and the officer were treated and discharged. The tragedy took place yesterday in the Vicaria police station of Naples after the family dispute. The incident took place around 10pm yesterday in the Vicaria police station while shortly before there had been a family dispute in via Pietro Colletta. According to initial indications, the victim was apparently a drug user. The victim’s stepfather was also injured in the dispute at home and was treated and discharged from the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital. (HANDLE).
