Sad news came again from Indonesian football. After the death of two seasoned trainers, now it is the turn of the former Secretary General of PSSI, Nugraha Besoes to pass away.
The figure nicknamed the PSSI Immortal Secretary General breathed his last at the National Brain Center Hospital (RS PON) at the age of 81, Monday (6/2/2023) at 00.15 WIB.
From the information obtained by Suara Joglo from the Indonesian Football Whatsapp group, the late Nugraha Besoes will then be laid to rest at the funeral home located at Taman Alfa Indah Housing Block A II No. 18 Joglo, West Jakarta.
For information, Nugraha Besoes holds the record as PSSI Secretary General for the longest time or around 28 years.

He began serving as Secretary General of PSSI during 1983-1991 during Kardono’s leadership.
Then when the chairman of PSSI was held by Azwar Anas for the 1991-1999 period, Nugraha Besoes still held the reins as Secretary General of PSSI.
Continuing into the Nurdin Halid era, Nugraha Besoes finally resigned from the post of Secretary General of PSSI in 2011.
In addition, Nugraha Besoes has served as a member of the People’s Representative Council (DPR) and was active in the Golkar underbow organization, the Indonesian Renewal Youth Force (AMPI).
