No Man’s Sky updates free for all just in time to be ready for the release of PS VR2. The update called Fractal is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. According to the official statement, the update is sIt was designed to guarantee an even more immersive experience for players using VR peripherals and guarantees 3D audio, an adaptive user interface and a simplified and interactive gameplay.
Fractal allows players to easily switch between VR and standard gameplay while staying on the same save. It also includes a number of additional options across all platforms; players can earn a new spaceship, the Utopia Seeder, and discover a new “Utopia” expedition challenge to work together and rebuild, for the mysterious Utopia Foundation, an abandoned solar system.
The No Man’s Sky Fractal update also includes new content for Nintendo Switch users, who will now have access to all Nexus and Quicksilver missions and the “Trace of Metal” story, all already available for other platforms. Players on PlayStation, Steam Deck and Switch can now also experience greater immersion with support for gyro controls which makes exploring and scanning new discoveries more comfortable and precise than ever.
