Splatoon 3 Events: Big Run in March, and New Mode in April
The Salmon Run mode consists of three waves, fighting against hordes of small and large salmonids (and bosses) with the goal of getting the largest number of fry. Every so often, there is a special event, similar to Splatfests, called the Big Run.
He second big run has been confirmed for the weekend of March 4 to 6, just start your spring season. There has only been one Big Run since the game launched in September, so don’t forget to participate!
This event is played on one of the normal multiplayer maps, Coral Institutewhich is invaded by salmonids, and a new boss will debut in it, a dragon called Horrorboros in English.
We’re probably legally required to inform you that a new type of King Salmonid may begin appearing in March. It’s a giant, terrifying serpent called Horrorboros, and did we mention that it flies? But…you’ll probably be fine. Remember—you can earn a sticker! pic.twitter.com/oGtOgcWgsE

But the most interesting comes in Aprilwith the arrival of an entirely new mode, which they refer to as an “event”, although it is not clear if it will be a temporary event as “fleeting” as the Splatfest or Big Run, which happen once every one or two months.
Is about “Eggstra Work“, in English, a little extra work for the most seasoned employees of Don Oso. The objective is to collect the most fry in five rounds (instead of three) and on the same map.
According to the official Twitter of Splatoon 3, say that “it will be essential to plan the strategy to be as efficient as possible”. The best players will receive best stickers (although everyone will receive a sticker to decorate the ticket office), as well as scales to redeem new items that will be added to the store, such as the monkeys from Splatoon 2.
