This coming February 22, “Tríada” premieres, a Mexican suspense series starring Maite Perroni, who plays triplets, “Becca”, “Aleida” and “Tamara”, who were separated at birth and we will have to discover why was the reason. David Chocarro, Flavio Medina, Nuria Bages, Ofelia Medina, Ana Layevska, Daniella Valdez, and Aldo Gallardo also participate in the cast.
EL INFORMADOR participated in the press junket with the cast, where Maite talked about the challenge of playing three different characters. “It was a process that took a long time, of analysis, to discover the characteristics of each one of them, to be able to go to the imaginary of the space where they grew up, where they developed professionally, their life circumstances and their family. In addition to understanding their personalities according to what was being raised in the story in order to get to know them a little more”.
She expresses that doing all this table work was important to decipher the triplets step by step, “and after starting this part of interpreting, improvising and giving myself a day’s work with each one, I had three scripts with different colors per character and In the end, I worked with one where they were all there and it had already been processed, but it did take a long time and I got involved in different stages. with my directors, obviously with Alba Gil and Leonardo D’Antoni, with Úrsula Pruneda who was my coach and who was accompanying me on the day to day of filming”.
He emphasizes that on set, when interacting with his colleagues, where he is vibrating and feeling what the character has to say, he also gave him many other tools and experiences, “everything reached a point where nothing more was to surrender and feel to be able to tell the story”. In addition, he highlights that in order to interpret “Becca”, “Aleida” and “Tamara”, they also had to bring something of herself, “I had to fall in love with each one and find that empathy that could make me connect with that lack, ailment or situation that the character was experiencing in order to violate myself at that level”.
She confesses that the common denominator of the triplets, despite their circumstances, their origin and their life experience, “the three have a characteristic with which I can identify, because they are determined women, that they get ahead, that for her a ‘no’ as an answer is not enough, that they know how to find that path and that if not, they look for it and move on. As human beings our survival mechanism is to continue, follow, be there and get ahead”.
