Sumatran voice – Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman or Gus Miftah held a National Intellectual Spiritual Actual Rational Chat (ORASI) at Class I Prison Madiun, Friday (24/2/2023).
This National Oration aims to ward off radicalism and strengthen the values of Pancasila ideology among prisoners (WBP).
Gus Miftah said that Indonesia has six large “rooms”, namely Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Therefore, mutual respect is needed to create a peaceful country.
“Return to their respective rooms and don’t disturb other religious people. Because all religions are true for their adherents,” he said, as quoted by Antara.

Gus Miftah explained that loving the country is part of faith. This is in accordance with the jihad resolution by Hadratussyekh KH Hasyim Asy’ari on October 22, 1945.
“Why do we have to love Indonesia, because it is in this country that we were born, raised and live. So it is our duty to love the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.
Responsibility as an Indonesian citizen, said Gus Miftah, should not be neglected either. As inmates, the best way to be responsible is not to act in prison and to behave properly.
“Prisons are coaching institutions, and the substance of the da’wah path is coaching,” he said.
He admits that being important is good, but more importantly being good. There are three things that must be done to be good. First, realize the mistake, second regret the act and intention to repent, third is not to repeat it.
