The 2023 bike, to do better than the 2022, must score more than one victory and conquer many podiums. Aleix Espargaro in 2022 finished in fourth place after having been first, second and even third for a long time. Maverick Vinales came close to winning at Silverstone and finished the championship in eleventh place.
